Dongguk University WISE Campus Strengthens International Cooperation with Nepal L.R.I. School
Nepal's L.R.I. School president visited Dongguk University WISE on May 10.
This exchange, which was promoted at the invitation of the Korea-Nepal Buddhist Cultural Foundation as a key project of the Founding Philosophy Committee WISE, aims to strengthen the foundation for overseas propagation of Buddhism and to spread Korean language education and Buddhist cultural contents abroad.
Both Dongguk University WISE and L.R.I. School decided to promote Korean language education and student exchange programs by establishing a foundation for practical exchanges, and cooperate in creating various values by creating a convergence-type global education leading model through creative joint curriculum design.
Lee Yoo-kyung, head of the Office of International Affairs, said, “Exchanges with prestigious schools in Nepal, a country where KHNP, a representative company in Gyeongju, has entered, have great significance as a basis for the [Glocal University 30] project that is currently being promoted. We plan to promote a glocal innovation model by attracting outstanding foreign students.”
