Dongguk University WISE, High school in Gyeongju and India, Held a meeting with the Korean Embassy in India to advance the glocal education capacity building program.

On the 26th, Dongguk University WISE held an online/offline hybrid meeting at the 100th Anniversary Memorial Hall on campus to advance the glocal education capacity building program with ANS Senior Secondary School in India, the Korean Embassy in India, and Gyeongju Women's Information High School.

 This program was conducted by Dongguk University WISE from May 9th to successfully operate the global mentoring program between students of Department of Home Education, Dongguk University WISE, Gyeongju Women's Information High School students, and Indian high school students to discuss future development plans.

 The meeting was attended by Dongguk University WISE Campus President Youngkyoung Yi, Director of International Relations Office Yukyung Lee, Department of Home Economics Education Professor Sueon Joo and students from the Department of Home Economics Education, Gyeongju Girls Information High School Vice Principal Kim Dongeun and a group of students attending the meeting, as well as the principal and students of ASN Senior Secondary School in India, It was conducted as an online/offline hybrid with the Korean Embassy in India.

 Jongmin Jeon, a sophomore at the Department of Home Education at Dongguk University WISE who participated in the program, said, "It was a great opportunity to get closer to my dream of becoming a teacher and to improve myself while working as a mentor and doing various activities with Indian students from far away." said.

 Park Su-bin, a student at Gyeongju Girls’ Information High School, said, “There were difficulties when I first started the video program with my Indian friends, but with the help of the mentor teacher, I was able to overcome the difficulties and do it for three weeks. It was a very informative and helpful time,” he said.

 
Arena, a student at ASN Senior Secondary School in India, said in fluent Korean, “I learned and experienced a lot about Korea and traditional culture through this glocal mentoring program, and I really want to study in Korea.”
