Dongguk University WISE Campus Signs Academic Exchange Agreement with Peruvian University

Photo Exhibitions Held Simultaneously in Both Countries, to Wish for the Success of ‘2024 APEC Peru - 2025 APEC Gyeongju’

On November 20, President Ryu Wan-ha and his delegation from Dongguk University WISE Campus visited the National University of San Agustin of Arequipa(UNSA) in Peru, and signed an MOU to strengthen academic cooperation.

Through this agreement, Dongguk University WISE Campus and UNSA will enhance cooperation in the following areas: △student and faculty exchange, △exchange of academic materials and publications, △joint research, and △strengthening collaboration in the organization of conferences hosted by both universities.

President Ryu stated, "As the chair country of APEC this year, Peru has a high level of favorability toward Korea due to the strong Korean Wave(Hallyu). We plan to strengthen various ccollaborations with Peru in areas such as culture, academics, and industry-academia cooperation led by our university. This will lead to sustainable development as a regional hub university and develop a unique glocal innovation model for our university."

President Ryu and his delegation from Dongguk University WISE Campus are visiting Peru together with the Gyeongju City delegation to prepare for the successful hosting of the 2025 APEC Summit, establish a network of friendly cooperation, and promote mutual development through strengthened glocal academic and industrial cooperation. A photo exhibition wishing for the successful hosting of "2024 APEC Peru - 2025 APEC Gyeongju" was simultaneously held at the central library of Dongguk University WISE Campus and the National University of San Agustin in Peru.
