Dongguk University WISE Campus (President Ryu Wan-ha) has announced that it has been preliminary designated for the International Education Quality Assurance System(IEQAS) 2024 organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
 Dongguk University WISE Campus has been designated as an accredited institution under the IEQAS 2024, with both its degree programs and language training programs being officially recognized. The accreditation period is one year from March 2025 to February 2026.
 The IEQAS is a program initiated by the Ministry of Education in 2011 to enhance the recruitment of high-quality international students and improve the internationalization capabilities of domestic students. The Ministry of Education selects universities with excellent internationalization capabilities by evaluating factors like “illegal stay rates,” “strategies and selection,” “support for international students,” and “management and performance of international students.” Accredited universities receive various policy benefits, ensuring quality management in the field of internationalization.
 Dongguk University WISE Campus, now accredited under the IEQAS 2024, has strengthened its ability to attract high-quality international students, especially as the number of domestic students decreases. It has also gained a competitive advantage in participating in various national projects with the government and local authorities. This accomplishment provides important momentum to help the university overcome challenges faced by regional schools.
 To further specialize in internationalization, Dongguk University WISE Campus has proactively introduced a variety of content, systems, and policies aimed at enhancing its global presence. These include specialized curricula for international students, remote learning courses dedicated to them, AI-based real-time captioning and translation systems, the Dongguk Global Freshmen Academy(DGFA), an official TOPIK(Test of Proficiency in Korean) testing center, and regionally tailored visas for employment and settlement support. Through these initiatives, the university is leading a high-tech learning revolution and pioneering a glocal higher education innovation model.
