Dongguk University WISE Campus has begun expanding academic exchanges and Buddhist cooperation with Japan.

President Yi, Young Kyoung visited Tokyo City University, Shizuoka University of Welfare, and temples for four days from January 11th to promote the internationalization of the university and the globalization of Buddhism.

Dongguk University WISE signed an MOU for academic exchanges and cooperation with Shizuoka University of Welfare and discussed sharing global higher education resources and exchanging innovative contents with Tokyo City University.

This was in connection with the Buddhist globalization project promoted as a key project of the Dongguk University Building Committee. They visited Hattasan Son-ei-ji Temple in Shizuoka-ken and Kasuisai Temple of Soto Zen and discussed strengthening Buddhist exchanges and cooperation with Dongguk University WISE Campus through meetings with the head monks.
