The purpose of our Department of Nursing is to educate and nurture professional nurses who will dedicate themselves to the development of nursing and the well-being of its society based on the spirit of Buddhism, which is the founding philosophy of this university.
The department has been maintaining successful grades that 100% of the students are passing the national nurse examination since its establishment.
And, the graduates as nursing professionals are contributing themselves domestically and overseas in various fields, such as nuses in hospitals, professors in universities, teachers in public health organizations, officials in public services, and health managers in industries.
It has developd from a Department in 2002 to a College of Nursing in 2022: it opened the master's program at Department of Nursing in the graduate school; and it opened the doctoral program and currently in operation.
The purpose of the Department of Nursing Master's and Doctoral programs is to nurture nursing professionals, researchers on nursing, teachers, and managers who will be able to lead the knowledge of scientific nursing to cope with environmental changes in health care and social needs based on the spirit of Buddhism, which is the founding philosophy of the University.
The Master's program aims at developing competencies as researchers, teachers, and managers in the area of health delivery systems.
And, the Doctoral program focuses on nurturing leaders as senior researchers, professors, theory developers, and policy makers in the field of nursing.
